Electrical Testing FAQs
Do I need an electrical infrared scan?
This is mainly dependent on your insurance requirements. Most policies require yearly inspections.
Should the facility be operating during an infrared electric scan?
Yes, the facility should be operating within normal conditions during the scan to provide a standard load on the components being scanned.
Do the covers need to be removed from the breaker boxes?
Yes, the infrared camera cannot see through the panel covers therefore the inspector cannot view the critical components.
